But I am not sure if this is a coincident or not.
Remember in 2012 contestants at Miss USA claimed the contest was rigged. Olivia ended up winning Miss Universe despite her horrible perfomance
Several contestants for Miss USA also challenged the current Miss USA and well she won Miss Universe tonight.
Miss Universe is saving their brand! I knew this would happen

To me, Rbonney performed better in the preliminary rounds... More specifically in the gown portion.
But what I noticed tonight, Rbonney generally spoked miles ahead of the other 4 in the Top 5. Her gown and styling was a hot mess though.

Agreed @ prelims. I guess this win also says "CASE CLOSED" to the Miss USA rigging scandal, in that if she ended up winning, she had to have been the best at Miss USA. Well played, Paula. Well played! I guess Krystle Stewart and Co. are off the hook now, too?
Frank Speech wrote:I don't have a prediction list, but after prelims, these are the ones I like:
Potenial Winner - Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Jamaica, USA, Aruba
PR is my personal top pick for winner followed by Venezuela, but if politics are at play USA can win. Would love to see Jamaica or Aruba win though.
DR (possible top 7)
Italy
Iceland (don't expect her to place as some may view her as too thin, but I love her. She is a natural beauty)
India
Peru
Colombia (could pull as surprise top 7)
South Africa (possible top 7)
France
Special Mention: Vietnam, Mexico (expect her to place), Belgium
...and yes, I still think Tya can place in the final 16 if she nailed both interviews, especially given what happened last year.
...AND we all know this is not a prediction list because reality wise, we all know spots are already reserved in the top 16 for the Philippines, Thailand, USA, and I suspect Ukraine because they are super woke.
